EAST BANK COMMUNICATIONS SELF-PROMO

The brief: Put an unknown ad agency on the map for NW brands. The economy was slumping and marketers were under pressure to perform. I thought: Instead of telling people about our agency, what if we showed how all of their problems were their current agency's fault? Tens of thousands of orders came in for the handbook, over a thousand blame-shifting foam fingers were sold and the fictitious author/guru, Dr. Gary, was actually interviewed by the WSJ.
